To maintain full transparency regarding Evernote, I have been a user of this note-taking app since 2011 for my business and life. I’m going to walk you through some of my favorite aspects of Evernote in this review. Now all your meeting notes, web pages, projects, vacation plans, to-do lists, errands, important dates, and more are all in one place-with Evernote as your note-taking app, nothing falls through the cracks. Plus, you can share ideas with anyone, whether they use Evernote or not. In a way, using Evernote makes your brain searchable. Imagine being able to find that information when you need it fast.

If you’re like me, you have a million ideas, thoughts, inspirations, and research notes for projects (both professional and personal) that you’re working on at any given time. Instead of thinking about it until 3 am and telling yourself, “I’ll remember this, it’s THE answer I was looking for,” you can pick up your phone, jot down the idea in a note in the Evernote app, go back to sleep, and REALLY remember the idea in the morning. For example, suppose you wake up in the middle of the night with the BEST idea ever to solve a work challenge. When you use Evernote, you’ll be able to jot down those sudden bits of genius inspirations that appear out of thin air, anywhere and at any time. It gives you one place to put notes that contain to-dos, research, plans, ideas, and so much more. It works on your computer, phone, or tablet. What is Evernote, and why do you want it, or dare I say, need it? Evernote is a note-taking app. My Rating: 9.5 out of 10 Product Overview Guarantee: No guarantee but exceptional, live support options for Premium and Business subscribers In the end you need to answer the question if you need any of the improved features of Personal, and if you are willing to pay for them.Product Specifics: 3 plan levels including Basic, Premium, and Business

This is on any continued use - the first year rebate is nice to take along, but it will never make up for the base price level rise, in the longer run.

You can calculate back and forth, but it is very easy to see that you will pay more than today once you decide to upgrade to Personal. Make the switch on another day, nobody can tell if a first year rebate will be available then. Who had a full subscription before did pay this amount anyhow, and that is it. Make the switch today, get a one year rebate, and from then on the full price.

It will work with all old features, but you will not get any of the new stuff (except on the level of the Free plan) EN will (probably) not repeat the mistakes of the past to permanently lower the price for a specific service to a part of it’s subscribers.Ĭontinue with the old, rebated Premium. This was never a full subscription - and this is why you were not automatically moved to the Personal subscription level on release of the new plans. The same advice if you don't want the additional benefits. If you check your account settings and find that you are already on Personal then this is the offer to upgrade to Professional at a special price. This, apparently, fools the automated reminders and you should stop getting pestered but you'll also lose the pathway to the discounted upgrade to Personal.

If you don't want to upgrade but don't want the pestering reminders either then I'm told that you should initially accept the offer but before completing the process cancel. So the offer is being renewed for you in the hope you'll move to the new plans. In return you get the good price you previously had. However it will never receive any additional benefits etc. If you don't need or want the Tasks and Calendar functions then you will probably want to stick with the reduced-rate Premium package. Those on the reduced rate Premium have been allowed to keep the exact same package as they have been on until now but there is an option of a special rate upgrade to the new Personal plan.

Thyose paying the full rate were automatically transferred to the new Personal rate which is Premium plus a few extras (tasks and calendar). Others were paying the standard advertised rate.

A lot of long time Premium users had been locked into an old tarrif. There were actual two types of Premium subscriber before the subscriber tariffs were updated.
